One of the biggest threats to health is often the most overlooked--Loneliness. It‘s true everyone experiences feeling lonely at different times and for different reasons. But for thousands of people loneliness is a daily reality.

 

Science tells us that being socially isolated has a negative impact on physical health. 

 

 

 

For those who find themselves wanting more social contact, take a small step by choosing one of the following activities:

 

attend a free talk at a public library;

take advantage of a free admission day at the Denver zoo or natural history museum;

visit a bookstore and read awhile;

attend an event at your local recreation center.

 

Getting out and meeting people in a meaningful way is living and keeps you heading in the direction of Authentic Expansion!
